Job Posting : Budget Analyst I (5-month contract)
PrideStaff is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Budget Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the development and maintenance of budgets to support our company's strategic goals and financial objectives.

Responsibilities : Budget Management
Develop and maintain operating budgets for the company, including conducting forecasting and variance analysis.
Collaborate closely with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, providing guidance on financial performance.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies and present recommendations to executive leadership.
Monitor the purchase order process diligently to prevent overspending or unexpected expenses that could negatively impact the company's finances. Proactively work with departments to provide guidance and develop alternative solutions or cost-saving measures.
Cash Reconciliation and Cash Flow Analysis
Perform cash reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Analyze cash flow patterns, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize cash management strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective cash flow forecasting models and drive proactive decision-making.
Requirements :
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining budgets, conducting variance analysis, and providing financial guidance.
Proven track record in performing cash reconciliation tasks and analyzing cash flow patterns.
Experience in identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-saving measures.
Strong proficiency in utilizing financial analysis tools and software.
Experience in collaborating with department heads and executive leadership to drive financial performance and make informed decisions.
Previous experience working in a cross-functional team environment and building effective relationships with stakeholders.
Familiarity with GAAP.
