PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a dependable & skilled Grinder Machine Operator on behalf of our client in Taylors, SC.
We are searching for a reliable Grinder Machine Operator that is able to use a grinding machine to shape and straighten coil products for use in a variety of industries, as well as set up and operate the machine, and ensure precise measurements & specifications.
Grinder Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Load parts into the machine accurately and efficiently
- Follow instructions and charts during grinding
- Set up, adjust, and operate the machine's components
- Ensure parts are flattened and straightened
Grinder Machine Operator Required Skills
- Ability to work in a hot environment
- Solid understanding of machine operation basic principles
- Experience adjusting machine settings accurately
- Attention to detail to achieve tight tolerances on part dimensions
- Precise control when operating grinding machines
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Personal protective equipment is required when on the production floor to include: steel toe boots, hearing protection and eye protection.
Salary : $18 - $20
