Pridestaff is seeking industrial production workers for immediate hire.
Bay Saint Louis/Pearlington, MS Area
Starting pay: $14/hour, Temp-to-Hire, Paid weekly
This position offers pay increases after 30 and 120 days and again at hiring and career progression.
Job Duties:
- Loading and unloading steel pipe from spiral-weld machines, rollers, and conveyances
- Assisting machine operators on machinery used in the steel pipe spiral-weld production process
- Guiding steel pipe along rollers and production platforms for further processing and inspection
- Assisting welders in steel pipe repair (inside and outside of steel pipe)
- Grinding inside and outside of steel pipe
- Assisting with steel pipe paint coating process
- Other industrial production duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an industrial work environment
- Reliable transportation
- Steel-toed boots/shoes (hard hat and safety glasses provided with a payroll deduction)
This is a physically demanding position that requires comfort working in close quarters and a non-climate-controlled environment. You must be able to work a 12-hour shift standing on your feet, switching between morning and graveyard shifts every two weeks.
