Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Metrologist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Metrologist, you will be responsible for performing inspections and setting quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, materials in process, and finished products using metrology tools.
- Develop and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Utilize Calypso Programming Software to program CMMs and set metrology methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop process and equipment needs.
- Support manufacturing operations and process engineering initiatives.
- Measure part dimensions using the CMM.
- Familiarize yourself with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Contribute to the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission, and values.
- Adhere to and support all safety and quality system requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and utilize technology, including metrology tools from handheld to CMMs.
