What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Clerk position at PrideStaff?
We have a great warehouse role available for a person who enjoys working in a manufacturing facility that is first shift, climate controlled, clean, and with benefits. This Inventory Control Clerk position is responsible for receiving and managing inventory from the quality department.
Duties :
Take possession of new raw materials for the stock room and handle periodic cycle counts
Enter all new data into the computer systems to track inventory levels
Issue inventory to the production floor via the ERP system
Count product on shelves to ensure it matches what is in the computer
Make requests for inventory to ensure all raw materials are maintained at acceptable levels to keep projects on time
Inspecting raw materials to double check there aren't any defects that may impact the manufacturing process
Skills :
Previous experience with an ERP system is preferred
General computer skills, can handle data entry and can be taught a limited variety of computer programs
Excellent basic math skills
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
