Material Handler - Shipping / Receiving

Summary :
Performs administrative / physical tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies equipment. Must have prior experience with cycle counts and inventory.
Shift : Monday-Friday 5am-1 : 30pm
Overtime is generally available and may be mandatory
Pay : Up to $20 / hr for well qualified candidates

Essential Functions :
Responsible for receiving all deliveries made and allocating them to the correct stock location or department.
Unloading trucks. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
Lift heavy items and may operate forklift.
Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Qualifications :
Intermediate computer skills
Shipping software experience preferred
Experience managing inventory and ability to perform regular inventory cycle counts.
Possesses a general understanding of receiving orders and signing for delivery.
Supply Chain Knowledge
Preferred : experience working for a freight forwarder in the warehouse.
Forklift experience preferred but not required
Must be able to differentiate carriers . FedEx, UPS ETC.
Education :
High School, GED, Certifications on Electronics or equivalent experience.
Salary : $19 - $20
