What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at PrideStaff?
Manufacturing company in the Batavia area is searching for a qualified material handler to provide resources in all phases of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities / Principal Duties :
- Receive and inventory all incoming shipments.
- Verify & document all parts; enter into MRP system.
- Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.
- Prep components to customer specifications.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories of material.
- Package final assembled product for shipment.
- Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.
- Load SMT feeders, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching. Education : High School Diploma or GED
Experience : Two years' experience in a material handling position. Company will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience.
Physical / Cognitive Requirements : Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, and lifting of materials.
Equipment : Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.
Hours : M-Th 6 : 00am - 3 : 15pm, Fri 6 : 00am - 12 : 00pm
Starting Pay : $15.00 / hour
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $15.00
