Job : NOC IT Technician
Location : 77064
Pay : $20-$25 / hr DOE
Schedule : Saturday & Sunday 6PM-6AM, 2 - 8 hour weekdays
Full Time, Permanent Contract with Benefits, Holiday Pay, and PTO!
Core Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
Process all inbound service requests and incidents (Calls, Emails, Alerts…..)
1st Tier Technician On Call duties including dispatch to all GHC sites for areas of responsibility
1st and 2nd Tier support on Facility Systems and Infrastructure
Monitoring of critical systems / services displayed in NOC
Facilities Installations
General Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
Participate in any required On-Call rotations / schedules and Disaster Recovery efforts. Report all activity to the Network Operations Center (NOC)
Attend, Complete and fully understand all training required for the position, with the ability to apply in support of all critical systems and services provided by the Operations group.
Work with vendors as needed on areas of responsibility
Follow all GHC 9-1-1 policies

Detailed and Efficient use of NOC management tool (Ticketing System)

Advanced mechanical aptitude and the ability to use power tools and any other devices to perform duties
Knowledge / Work Experience
Knowledge of current IT systems / technology platforms / network / 9-1-1 call flow
Work experience in a 7x24x365 Network Operation Center
Good knowledge of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) systems with an emphasis onMission Critical Data Center power and HVAC systems
Specific knowledge of electrical / grounding systems in critical environments
Good knowledge and support of UPS systems and backup generators
Good knowledge of data communication cabling and infrastructure including terminations and cable testing
Education / Experience
2 / 4 year degree in related field preferred, Directly related job experience or technical certifications may be substituted
5 to 10 years of Field Technician experience in a critical support environment
Working Conditions / Environment
The working environment is generally favorable. Operational staff working environments and locations will vary depending on project needs. The incumbent will be required to perform physical labor as needed and / or lift boxes, hardware, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
