Job Description :
The Parts Specialist is responsible for managing warehouse inventory, which involves accurately identifying customer or shop floor needs, sourcing the correct parts, receiving, stocking and maintaining inventory levels, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
K ey Responsibilities :
Inventory Management : Maintaining accurate stock levels, receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, restocking shelves, rotating stock, and identifying parts that need to be reordered.
Receiving and inspecting shipments : checking incoming parts deliveries against purchase orders to verify quantity and quality.
Part Sourcing : Using the system, catalogs, and vendor networks to locate and order specific parts required for operations.
Order Fulfillment : Picking, packing, and preparing parts for shop floor work orders, customer pick-ups, shipments, and deliveries.
Technical Knowledge : Understanding vehicle systems, component and product identification, and compatibility across different products and their options.
Pricing and Estimating : Understanding part costs, providing accurate price quotes to customer service personnel, and managing work orders.
Data Entry : Using the system to maintain detailed records of inventory, shop floor or customer orders, and sales transactions.
Maintaining cleanliness : Keeping the warehouse or store area clean and organized, including proper disposal of packaging materials.
Problem Resolution : Addressing colleague concerns regarding parts, returns, deliveries, or incorrect orders.

Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in materials management, supply chain operations, or a related field.
Basic working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and materials management software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Good communication skills, essential for interacting with suppliers and managing teams.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs at a time.

Monday – Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
