SUMMARY
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently. Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information. Responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including new employee orientation / applications.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity while providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information into
- Famous software.
- Process and issue weekly employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
- Compute wages and deductions, utilizing Famous Software.
- Assist in new employee paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
- Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Distribute timecards each pay period.
- Record employee information, such as exemptions, resignations, and promotions to maintain updated payroll records.
- Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
- Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
- Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans, and collective agreement provisions.
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns.
- Balance cash and payroll accounts.
- Post relevant work hours to client files to bill clients properly.
- Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits, such as unemployment and medical insurance.
- Oversee and Train front desk personnel on organization timekeeping systems.
- Work with Management to successfully implement AgCode.
