Pipe Yard Worker
Position Summary
This position would work outdoors, managing our pipe yard and operating as a forklift driver.
Essential Functions
- Manage and keep orderly the pipe yard and surrounding areas
- Organize and maintain an accurate inventory count of the stock yard
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and load trucks
- Prior plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Track special orders and provide updates to customers.
- Handle telephone inquiries and orders from customers.
- Maintain sales counter, warehouse, and yard appearance.
- Unpack and Stock inventory on rocks, shelves, and bins.
- Any additional functions assigned by local Branch Manager or Supervisor
- Perform other duties and assignments as designated by Branch Manager
