We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Bolton, CT. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough quality inspections and audits of manufactured products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance protocols and address any quality control issues.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations throughout the production process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers, height gauges, and standard measurement tools.
- Experience with Mitutoyo LH600E and/or TESA Hite 700 linear height gauges.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and perform precise measurements within 0.0002".
- Familiarity with gage tracking and calibration.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
