Location : Mooresville, NC

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $25 / hour
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector with experience measuring and testing valves and using refractometers in a transmission manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all transmission components meet industry and company quality standards by conducting inspections, tests, and measurements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections and functional testing on transmission components , with a focus on valves and hydraulic systems.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct fluid analysis using refractometers to ensure proper viscosity, contamination levels, and performance of transmission fluids.
- Document inspection results, record data, and generate reports on quality findings.
- Identify defects, wear, or non-conformance in transmission parts and communicate findings to production teams.
- Assist in root cause analysis and work with engineers and technicians to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality management standards.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.
