Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at PrideStaff. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of manufactured products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to perform dimensional inspections.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance protocols and address any quality control issues.
- Perform final and in-process inspections, as well as calibrate hand tools and electrical components.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers, height gauges, and standard measurement tools.
- Experience with Mitutoyo LH600E and/or TESA Hite 700 linear height gauges.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and perform precise measurements within 0.0002".
- Familiarity with gage tracking and calibration, as well as knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
