What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reach Truck Operator position at PrideStaff?
We are looking to add Reach Truck Operator in the New Britain, CT area for a world class manufacturing company!
This is a temp-to-hire position!
Reach Truck Operator Shift: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
Reach Truck Operator Pay: $18/hr
Reach Truck Operator Responsibilities will include:
- Forklift Associate uses computer software
- Stack packages onto pallets and wrap/label for shipping
- Load pallets onto trucks or into storage (use of pallet jack required)
- Breakdown cardboard and organize/palletize for bi-weekly tractor trailer pickups
- Warehouse Associate will use a reach truck to pick material
Reach Truck Operator candidate will possess:
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication skills and a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to take direction
- Attention to detail
- Works well in fast-paced environment
- Organization, cleanliness, and strong work ethic
Qualifications
- Experience in distribution center operations
- Proficient in materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Certified forklift operator with expertise in load & unload tasks
- Familiarity with Reach truck operation
