What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speedway Event Specialist - 03/01 Back Gate position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff is seeking event Specialists to work one-day assignments
Must be open to work in all positions. The events are SATURDAYS ONLY 03 / 01 / 2025. (2 : 30PM - 10 : 30PM)
Ticket Seller : Works inside a building and sells tickets. (works with cash and credit cards)
Ticket Taker : Stands outside and receives tickets from fans. ( tears off stubs)
Will Call Window : Takes fans ID and looks inside the file box for Tickets purchased online or Sponsor or VIP tickets.
Grand Stand Ushers : Helps fans find their seat.
Front Gate Ushers : Helps direct fans to their seating.
- VIP Sky Base Ushers : Stand near sky base stairs and only let people up that have the right wristband on. (employees start at 2 PM and work till racing is over)
These positions start from 1 : 30 PM until the race is over. (start times change some depending on what is racing) Back Gate, Pit Pass Sellers : Sells pit passes to all fans going inside the pit area. (works inside a building, and works with cash and credit cards)These positions start at 1 : 30 PM and work till the last race is over. Back Gate Pit Pass Ushers : Make sure everyone has a pit pass before entering the Pit area.
Employees are required to wear dark pants (no jeans) (no torn pants) Red collared pullover shirt. Closed-toe shoes. Bring a jacket and a bottle of water. You will receive 30 minute lunch. Most jobs are standing, and sometimes the weather is cold and sometimes the weather can be very hot depending on the season.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $20.00
