What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver position at PrideStaff?
We are looking for a DOT-certified driver to fill in this direct hire position! We are looking for an individual to start immediately! This is a great opportunity to work with a small tight-knit team, on an early shift!
Shift- Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
Pay Rate- $21/hr (Based on Experience)
Location- Columbia, MD
Pridestaff is working with a client in Columbia that specializes in cabinets and countertops. They are looking for a great Warehouse Driver to join their company. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and once you get hired full-time you will receive extensive training.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customer locations promptly
- Load and unload the vehicle
- Collect on unpaid orders and shipments
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs daily
- Must be DOT-certified to drive commercial vehicles
- At least a year to 2 years of experience as a commercial driver
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Willing to submit to a background test and drug screen
