What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Machine Operator position at Pries Enterprises Inc?
Pries is looking for a fabrication Machine Operator to add to our team.
The position is Monday-Friday 6am-2pm with a possible Saturday depending on production. Starting pay is $16 an hour plus a $2 attendance bonus eligibility.
Duties include:
- Operate various punch presses to comply with customer order specifications
- Visually inspect material for defects, scrap defective material.
- Pull inspection samples to check conformity.
- Package finished material per customer specifications.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Clean and organize your work area
- Must be able to work independently at a steady pace
- Must be able to operate a computer to look up orders and post production
