Seasonal Maintenance Positions
Season: May-September
Location: Priest Lake State Park- Indian Creek unit and Lionhead unit
Pay: $14 per hour, Full-time 40 hours per week
Housing /Type: Housing /Type: Limited housing available/Shared Bunkhouse-$26 - $30 a monthly rental Note***Sleeping quarters spilt in two seperate rooms one bunk room for men and one bunk room for women. Shared kitchen and living room area. One restroom for women's side and one restroom for men's side at Indian Creek and shared restroom at Lionhead bunkhouse. 2 Bunkhouse locations total-One located in Lionhead unit and One at Indian Creek Unit.
Uniform Provided: Shirt and hat provided
Direct Supervisor: Kyle Briggs Park Ranger and Misha Nixon Park Ranger-Indian Creek and Dickensheet units, Christine Briggs Park Ranger-Lionhead unit
Duties: Seasonal maintenance staff work 40 hours a week, five days a week (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) performing a variety of grounds maintenance, facility maintenance, cleaning, and customer service duties. Duties include but are not limited to:
· Clean, stock, and maintain restrooms and shower houses
· Communicate on a 2-way park radio with staff
· Grounds maintenance including mowing, weed whacking, tree cutting, tree pruning etc.
· Maintain and repair irrigation systems
· Monitor septic systems
· Plumbing and minor electrical work throughout park
· Clear trails of downed trees and debris
· Pick up trash throughout park and take trash to dump when needed
· Use, inspect, and maintain park vehicles and equipment-Bobcat, dump truck, backhoe, park trucks, mowers, pumper, chainsaw, paint sprayer etc.
· Cut, stack, and bag firewood throughout the season
· Answer questions and directing visitors to the appropriate destination
· Work on park improvement projects when assigned-painting, woodworking, dock work, tree removal etc.
· Work with other staff and volunteers to complete projects
· Assist with monthly check lists on facilities, equipment, and vehicles
· Assist with cleaning cabins and campsites as needed
· Inform supervisor of any issues that arise

Pay: $14.00 per hour
