Summary Description
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to perform administrative tasks for our Home Care office. The Office Assistant is responsible for answering calls, sharing on-call phone rotation, completing Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) setting appointments and follow-up visits with clients and employees.
- Answer phone calls.
- Respond to emails.
- Provides clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets and client intake and yearly assessment packets
- Filing, copying, scanning and using drop box.
- Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) maintenance of visits for field employees on our Vesta software program
- Data Entry of client's and employees in our Vesta system
- Assists with maintenance of personnel files.
- Promotes the agency philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to clients /families, physicians and community agencies.
- Provide effective communication to client/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintains confidentiality
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a care giver-office assistant or supervisor in Home Care.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent computer literacy and experience with healthcare recording systems.
- 2 years of experience in office administration.
