Prima CARE in Fall River, Massachusetts has an immediate opening for a fellowship-trained Pulmonary-Critical Care specialist to join our established Pulmonary Division.
Prima CARE is a 160-provider multispecialty group in Fall River, Massachusetts. In addition to 40 Primary Care physicians, Prima CARE offers various medical specialties and services, including a Sleep Lab, Diagnostic Imaging (CT, MRI), Physical Therapy, and Laboratory.
Our Pulmonary/Critical Care Division currently consists of 7 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers seeing inpatients at Saint Anne's Hospital (a Brown University facility) and covering a thriving outpatient practice. We are the exclusive Intensivists and Pulmonary consultants at St. Anne’s Hospital. Our pulmonologists perform PFT’s and bronchoscopy and are trained in EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy. Current specialized projects include COPD/Dyspnea Clinics, a lung cancer screening program, and a lung nodule program. Our providers have abroad array of interests, including pulmonary hypertension, and a thoracic surgeon is on-site in the office.
Prima CARE is a physician-owned group and an affiliate of the Revere Medical Network. St. Anne’s has approximately 160 beds (with a 12-bed Med-Surg ICU with overnight eICU), a modern patient pavilion, and renovated Operating Rooms and Emergency Department.
This is an excellent medical community and Prima CARE’s Primary Care base provides an excellent source of specialty referrals. The salary is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses after 1 year and eligible for partnership after 3 years with minimal buy-in. Of course, moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included.
Fall River is located 20 minutes from Providence, RI, less than an hour from Boston, and a half-hour from Cape Cod and Newport, RI. The area is situated near cities, beaches, farms, suburbia, and virtually any type of living environment you prefer. For more information, please contact:
