EHR Trainer

Job Title: EHR Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EHR Trainer to join our team. The EHR Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) eClinicalWorks (eCW) system to ensure that all providers and staff members are proficient in its use. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of eCW systems, and the ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. Additionally, the qualified individual will help other members of the team troubleshoot issues related to eCW and work with IT to implement various EHR features and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
• Customize training programs to address the specific needs of different departments and roles.
• Provide one-on-one support and troubleshooting assistance to staff members.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in eCW systems and incorporate new features into training programs.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and use of the eCW system.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
• “Shadow” providers and users in the practices/offices to help improve workflow efficiency and solve problems.
• All other job duties assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHR training or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech), eClinicalWorks is a plus,
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in EHR training or related field is a plus.

Pay: $20.14 - $20.57 per hour
