What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Prima Vista Animal Hospital?
We are looking to add a full time Veterinary Receptionist to our team. The receptionist is the first smiling face clients are greeted with at our veterinary practice. Friendly, kind and efficient service from the beginning will set the tone for the client’s visit. Receptionists should be professional and courteous while being able to handle many tasks at once with numerous interruptions while appearing unruffled.
*Previous veterinary receptionist experience required*
Basic Job Responsibilities: Arrive to work on time, schedule appointments, answer multi line phone system, handle patient medical records, enter data into veterinary software (Avimark experience a plus!), collect payment for services, balance each days financial transactions, clean and organize work areas, and most importantly, have the ability to effectively present information one-on-one to clients, and other team members in the hospital. Customer service and multi-tasking skills are a must!!
We are a Drugfree workplace. Benefits available after 90 days.
Our hospital is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
