Prima Vista Animal Hospital is looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician to our team!
*At least two years of veterinary technician experience is required*
Basic Technician Job Essentials:
*Excellent Client Service Skills
*Must be on time for scheduled shifts
*Assist Veterinarian
*Blood Draws
*Catheter Placements
*Anesthetic Administration and Monitoring
*Surgical Assistance
*Administering Medications
*Proper Pet Restraint
*Use of Lab Machines
*Reading Intestinal Parasite Screens, Urinalysis and other lab samples
*Administering Vaccines
*Cleaning Exam Rooms and Work Areas
*Experience with Avimark a plus
We are looking for technician's with open and flexible schedules. Scheduled shifts are 4 days a week, 7am-6pm during weekdays and 7:30am-6pm on the weekends (saturday/sunday), alternating weekends.
We are a Drug-free workplace. Rate of pay based on experience.
