JOB SUMMARY
Sanitation Technician duties and responsibilities can include general cleaning of production rooms and keeping them maintained and in good condition. This can include sanitation of work surfaces, equipment, and tools.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete a nightly cleaning check to ensure all areas and equipment are ready to meet Pre-operations goals established at 10X-Lags.
• Establishes and maintains adequate records to track chemical Inventory and sanitation supplies.
• Controls all cleaning activities and daily scheduling of the sanitation staff to maximize efficiency and control cost.
• Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of 10X-Labs facilities.
• Train, coach and develop cleaning staff using existing knowledge to meet the company’s standards and expectations.
• Informs Manufacturing manager of all repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all warehouse equipment through continuous daily inspections.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
SANITATION TECHNICIAN
• The individual selected as the Sanitation Technician will be responsible for performing the assigned tasks given by the Manufacturing Manager. Alleviate/enforce any G.M.P. or Food Safety concerns.
• Daily Routine Tasking; The Sanitation Technician shall be responsible for; upkeep of entrances, floors, utility areas and storage areas, handling all line clean ups and the documentation for clean ups, enforcing all safety rules and regulations, monitoring the inventory of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Cleaners and Materials; The Sanitation Technician shall be responsible for ensuring that all cleaners are used as set forth in the manufacturers’ instructions.
• Chemical Testing; All bulk cleaning chemicals used in the facility must be diluted. The material used to test the proper dilutions of said chemicals will be provided by the chemical manufacturer and the use of said test the Manufacturing Manager will control materials.
• Line Clean up and Inspection; The Sanitation Technician shall be responsible for managing all line clean ups. They must be knowledgeable in how to properly inspect line equipment. They must also be knowledgeable in the definitions and what is involved for; changeovers, shutdowns, start-ups, periodicals, 100% organic, 100% wash, 100% Allergen and kosher clean ups.

Education

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Generally, the work environment is that of a manufacturing plant, specifically one that manufactures food products.
• May be required to work weekends, nights, or holidays as a regular part of the job.
