Warehouse/Inventory Manager

T H E   J O B

ROLES    RESPONSIBILITIES   Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

The Warehouse Inventory Manager oversees all operations within the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods by managing inventory levels, coordinating staff, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing space utilization to meet order fulfillment deadlines, while collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Additional duties and responsibilities may include: 

• Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
• Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
• Evaluating new inventory, ensuring it’s ready to ship
• Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
• Hire and train new employees
• Ensure accurate finished goods and raw material inventory counts
• Make recommendations on labor and procedure changes to properly support shipping and production teams in their day to day activities
• Work closely with our shipment vendors to ensure we have the proper amount of pickups scheduled and all necessary equipment ordered and on site
• Ensure all productions materials staged for manufacturing orders 24-48 hours in advance and return inventory cycle counted back in after use
• Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) usage of all raw materials and finished goods
• Develop and report monthly inventory cycle counts
• Investigate and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies 
• Evaluate storage needs and develop strategies to support future company growth projections
• Develop and manage finished goods logistic transfer plans to transfer finished goods between locations
• Ensure all raw materials and finished goods are located within our ERP system

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A bachelor's degree in management or warehouse experience
• Previous experience in warehouse and inventory management
• 3 years of experience in inventory management
• Experience in business administration may be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Good technical and IT skills

• Physical demands include working with a computer for extended periods of time, standing, walking, bending, reaching, carrying, and occasionally lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds
• Travel is not required for this position, but opportunities for learning and development may be outside of the office headquarters
