Job Overview

Primary Arms Optics (PAO) is seeking a proactive and organized Optics Marketing Manager to support the sales division by driving cross-department collaboration, ensuring timely execution of marketing deliverables that align with sales team goals, and managing product packaging processes. This role requires experience managing projects with a focus on aligning marketing efforts to support sales goals and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support and Initiative Management:
    • Track and ensure completion of all sales initiatives, aligning with sales targets and timelines.
    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand project priorities and objectives.
    • Work with teams to develop strong POP material programs for the sales team to grow and develop market presence.
    • Collaborate with the design team to create impactful POP materials (displays, signage, brochures, catalogs, manuals) that support sales efforts and enhance brand visibility in retail stores.
    • Meet with Sales management regularly to determine overall direction and identify opportunities to capture market share from a marketing perspective.
  • Cross Department Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between sales, marketing, product development, and design teams.
    • Facilitate clear and effective communication across departments to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Packaging Coordination:
    • Manage all aspects of PAO product packaging development and revisions.
    • Coordinate with design teams to ensure packaging meets brand standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure packaging aligns with sales strategies and timelines.
  • Accountability and Deliverable Management:
    • Hold departments accountable for timely delivery of key product information including MPNs, UPCs, weights, and dimensions.
    • Implement systems to track and report on the progress of deliverables.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Identify areas for process improvement in project workflows to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
    • Develop and implement tools to streamline operations.
Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience managing projects, preferably within a marketing or sales-driven organization.
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Strong data analysis and reporting experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-department collaboration.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Experience in the outdoor, sporting goods, or optics industry is a plus.
