Responsibilities and Duties
- This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for corporate expenses, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments
- Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, payment terms, and issue resolution
- Assist in expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline AP operations
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of full cycle accounts payable experience, in a high-volume setting.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes in a retail environment, controls, and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally
