We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Triage Nurse to join our healthcare team at Timber Lane Pediatrics.
As a Triage Nurse, you will play a critical role in assessing patient needs and prioritizing care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate medical attention. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the urgency of care needed.
- Perform vital signs checks and document medical history accurately.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Provide emergency medicine support, including basic life support when required.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in outpatient services as needed, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with experience in emergency medicine or triage nursing preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and outpatient care protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
