What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Nurse Practitioner position at Primary Care Medicine?
We are a medical practice helping patients heal from disease and illness with the goal of reaching optimal wellness. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, self-motivated, open-minded provider to add to our team. Our team consists of a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Office Manager, IV Technician, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist, on-site laboratory, and a receptionist.
Common conditions we treat include allergies, thyroid, chronic pain, age-related diseases, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and much more. Expertise in lab reviews, prescribing medications, and basic primary care.
Charting and prescription follow-through are part of the administrative responsibilities that require daily completion. Office visits must adhere to insurance reimbursement standards by being punctual (avg. 4 patients per hour). Exhibits confidence working both independently and collaboratively as needed. Demonstrates excellent communications skills, both in writing and verbal. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize conventional medicine to diagnose and treat patients. We are seeking a commitment for a minimum of two years.
The Primary Care NP will step into the role immediately upon starting, working within the scope of their experience and training, and collaborating with staff as needed. This position is an outstanding opportunity and requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Must have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of medical experience in prescribing medications and diagnosing patients within a primary care setting. Must have a flexible and team attitude, able to change course within a short time frame. Accepts constructive feedback, follows office guidelines, has good time management, is organized, punctual, and makes suggestions for improvement as needed. Local talent only.
Patient visits 27-32 daily, avg 30 per day.

- Hyperbaric consultations
- IV Infusion (helpful but not required)
- Hormone evaluation for both male and female patients
