Shift: Days
The role you will contribute to involves assisting physicians in providing medical care to patients of various ages.
Your responsibilities will include performing initial response-screening, assessing patients, and helping practice and physician achieve all meaningful use measures.
You will also be responsible for cleaning, preparing and maintaining examinations rooms and treatment areas, preparing patients for examinations, procedures and treatments, and assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
To succeed in this role, you will need a High School Diploma and 1 year of related work experience or completed an accredited Medical Assistant program with completion of an externship.
A nationally recognized certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMAA) is also required.
