The Role You Will Contribute
As a Certified Medical Assistant PCN, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in providing medical care to patients of various ages. Your role will involve performing initial response-screening following protocols under the direction of the supervising physician. You will also be responsible for helping practice and physician achieve all meaningful use measures.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in providing medical care to patients

- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma and 1 year of related work experience or completed an accredited Medical Assistant program with completion of an externship. You must also be certified through one of the approved national organizations (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, ARMA). Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is also required.
