Job Description
This full-time position involves working directly with our healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you'll be responsible for preparing patients for appointments, assisting with exams and procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets patients, takes vitals, and updates medical records
- Assists healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
- Prepares and administers medications, performs lab tests, and processes paperwork as needed
- Maintains a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control policies
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), RMA, or equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in a medical setting; prior experience as a Medical Assistant highly desired
