Urgent Care of Kansas is a clinic located in Gardner, KS that includes Pediatric, Emergency and Family Practice. We are looking for team members that are dependable, positive and enjoy patient care.
Job Description:
The Medical Assistant assumes a wide range of clerical and clinical functions in an urgent care/ primary care clinic. Under the supervision of the physician and/or Nurse Practitioner, the MA provides direct patient care. The MA serves as a key player in interacting and communicating with patients and clinical staff. Applicant must possess a positive attitude and work well in a fast paced team environment.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients, taking patient histories and patient vitals
- Testing and charting
- Answering phone calls
- Collecting samples and accurately labeling
- Assisting in office procedures
- Skilled in drawing blood
- Ability to work independently
- Minor housekeeping
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 26 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Salary : $18 - $20
