Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in tube feeding systems and esthetic laser treatment is preferred
- Ability to provide patient care across the lifespan, including memory care and pain management
- Familiarity with workers compensation law and discharge planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
