Eligibility Specialist

Job Summary
The Eligibility Specialist plays a crucial role in assessing and determining eligibility for various Insurances.

• Verifying insurance coverage of each patient and ensuring accuracy of the data entered into the system.
• Has to have knowledge of all insurance plans and be aware of when a pcp or authorization is required.
• Understands all health funding plans.
• Handling payments for services not covered by insurance.
• Explaining coverages to patients.
• Updating patient information/keeping records.
• Filling out documentation required for billing.
• Help front desk receptionist as needed if the patient phones are busy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
