Busy Olive Branch Primary Care Provider is seeking a full time (4 days, 32 hours Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) seasoned Medical Assistant with experience working in a clinic environment.
**No Fridays or Weekends**
Medical Assistant needed to help with all aspects of Primary Care Clinic
Medical Assistant duties:
- Assist provider in exam rooms
- Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature
- Perform blood draws, EKG, and rapid diagnostic tests
- Review of all related reports, encounters, and labs in advance of patient intake to have better understanding for reason of visit and to prepare for patient questions
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
- Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
- All other duties as assigned by practice administrator
*5 years experience working in a Clinic required
Medical assistants must have knowledge of:
- Healthcare field and medical specialty - Family practice preferred
- Medical terminology
- Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- EHR experience
