Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all patients to PHP (Primary Health Partners).
- Scheduling, registration, updating patient information regularly.
- Answering phones, triaging, assisting with customer requests, medication refills, etc.
- Monitor fax and voicemail folders throughout the day.
- Manage front office duties including: light cleaning, stocking supplies, and ordering supplies; coordinating pharmacy reps (lunches, samples);
- Process payments including running daily patient invoice reports and completing missed invoices.
- Scanning documents
Experience/Education Requirements:
2 years clerical experience in a medical office setting preferred. High school diploma required.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate or bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: 2 years proven administrative experience (healthcare preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with patients, physicians and clinic staff.
- Infectiously positive and personal in all communication.
- Time management skills, and ability to prioritize work and complete with limited supervision.
- Proficient in various computer software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and able to multitask with accuracy.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Experience working with various computer systems, scheduling patients, and triaging patient calls in a medical office setting.
- Team Mentality.
Physical Demands:
- This position is primarily sedentary but does allow some standing and moving throughout the day.
- Light lifting, up to 20 lbs.
- Some twisting, turning, reaching, stooping, or kneeling.
