Duties:
- Provide primary care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of [location].
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the applicable specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics).
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner, eClinicalWorks).
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing.
- Familiarity with utilization management principles.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
