Primary Medical is a primary care practice looking for a talented clinician to join our growing team! Established in 1994, our award-winning practice specializes in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Endocrinology. As the largest private practice in Ventura County, we serve patients in eight offices located across the region in the cities of Ventura, Santa Paula, Oxnard, and Camarillo. Our offices are family-friendly, and our healthcare providers pay special attention to preventive care and regular monitoring for patients with chronic illnesses like diabetes and heart disease.

DESCRIPTION

• Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care
• Full-time is 36-40 hours per work week
• Competitive salary with bonus structure
• Providers see approximately 20 patients per day
• EHR: Athenahealth
• Telemedicine appointments available

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK –4 or 5-day work week options. Typical hours are 8:00am-5:00pm and weekends are limited to up to 4 (four) Saturday mornings per year.

Requirements

• Board certification
• Active and unrestricted California PA/NP medical license
• Spanish language skills helpful
• One to two years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strongly prefer local candidates
• Interest in inpatient medicine a plus
• No visa sponsorships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
