Job Description :
As the Contracts Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing all phases of physical natural gas commodity contracts including preparing, negotiating, and tracking base contracts, transaction confirmations, amendments, and other contract modifications, as well as monitoring contract compliance, and analyzing and maintaining records. In addition, you would be responsible for managing processes related to our contract system, DocuSign as well as providing reporting, analysis, and other support to multiple departments. A successful candidate will monitor and report to management appropriate metrics of the team such as contract turnaround time and any other performance metrics as required. This position provides the opportunity to lead a team while focusing on critical details, manage a variety of contract functions in partnership with internal customers from several departments throughout the organization and gain exposure to the Senior Leadership Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and manage contract admin department policies, training, and procedures that are conducive to company goal.
- Develop individual and team performance goals and key reporting metrics.
- Monitor and report on individual and team performance against goals and key reporting metrics.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators related to contract process.
- Manage and develop effective and efficient business processes that are aligned with company goals.
- Lead all Contract forward plan initiatives and oversee all value-creating opportunities.
- Ability to strategically identify improvements, methodically solve challenges and propose creative solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
