Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Benefits Coordinator for a prestigious client in the automotive industry. This position plays a crucial role in the administration of group benefits programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and support for employees. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in benefits administration while working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve benefits-related issues.
- Ensure benefits programs align with corporate and HR strategies and comply with federal regulations.
- Audit all benefit plans to ensure compliance and timely vendor payments.
- Maintain and update enrollment documents, materials, and summary plan descriptions (SPDs).
- Prepare correspondence, expense reports, presentations, and spreadsheets; edit for punctuation and grammar; coordinate and process all mail merge projects.
- Manage general inquiries and complaints via phone, email, or in person, requiring knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Investigate claim issues and facilitate claim resolution with employees and carriers.
- Process medical support orders.
- Maintain information on the company’s benefits intranet site.
- Coordinate and assist during acquisitions.
- Serve as the primary contact for wellness initiatives.
- Assist management in identifying opportunities for continual process improvement.
- Support major projects such as open enrollment, system conversions, and plan updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Benefits experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
