Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Director of Estimating to support a leading company in the energy sector. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to take on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing accurate cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and supporting strategic decision-making in a growing organization.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, scope, and specifications.
- Analyze project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and technical documents, to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Utilize industry-specific software and tools to create cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction specialists to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Identify potential risks that could impact project costs and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop estimate plans, reports, and presentations detailing assumptions, methodologies, and constraints.
- Assist in bid proposal development by providing cost estimates and supporting documentation.
- Continuously monitor and update project estimates to ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project review meetings, providing insights into cost-related matters and making adjustments as needed.
- Contribute to the development of project control processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in compiling historical data and benchmarking information for estimate comparison and analysis.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications :
This position is 100% onsite, with 50% travel required.
