In this role, you will collaborate with site and corporate teams to ensure the facility complies with federal and state air quality regulations. You will be responsible for preparing compliance plans, conducting audits, and managing air emission monitoring activities, all while supporting a team dedicated to operational excellence and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site and corporate staff to understand and implement site-specific air quality compliance processes and operating procedures.
- Collect and analyze data from site staff, contractors, and corporate teams to demonstrate compliance with monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and update Air Quality Compliance Plans and Procedures for the site.
- Maintain air emission inventories and compile background data for weekly and monthly Air Quality Compliance reports.
- Conduct site walk-throughs and coordinate periodic stack tests and fugitive monitoring surveys.
- Assist in conducting Air Quality Compliance training sessions for site staff.
- Participate in internal site audits of Air Quality Compliance activities to ensure adherence to all regulations.
- Research and interpret federal (e.g., NSPS, NESHAP) and state (LDEQ) air quality regulations as needed to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Air Quality Compliance experience. Experience in Louisiana's regulatory environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EPA and Louisiana Air Quality regulations, including Title V and PSD Permit programs.
- Proficiency in air emission calculations and reporting procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, with strong analytical abilities.
- Prior experience in the LNG, oil, or gas sectors is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis.
- Transportation TWIC required (or ability to obtain).
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
