Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Financial Services Associate for a prestigious client. In this role, you will apply the company's credit and collection policies to manage accounts, assess credit risk, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that receivables are collected efficiently. Responsibilities
- Apply credit and collection policies to assess the credit requirements of designated customer accounts.
- Review customer files, reports, and financial statements to ensure compliance with deposit requirements.
- Extend credit to customers in line with established policy and terms.
- Analyze financial situations of customers to determine whether to extend credit beyond standard criteria.
- Assess credit risk for aggregated portfolios and individual accounts.
- Follow up and collect on outstanding accounts receivable in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate with management regarding special credit applications outside standard policies.
- Investigate customer complaints and prepare responses to regulatory agencies, consumer advocates, and management.
- Evaluate customer eligibility for Public Utility Commission (PUC) mandated activities and programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited four-year university (strongly preferred).
- Six months to two years of credit and collections experience required; banking experience preferred.
- Proficient mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person while maintaining composure.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to read and understand contractual documents and prepare company correspondence.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and related software.
- Experience with skip tracing is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must have remote high-speed internet access.
