Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing and Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor management, and contract negotiations for IT-related products and services. This role will focus on optimizing procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic IT sourcing plans for hardware, software, cloud services, and professional IT solutions.
- Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiate contracts, and manage third-party risk & compliance.
- Optimize Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems to improve procurement workflows.
- Lead RFP processes, vendor negotiations, and contract execution to secure favorable terms.
- Foster collaboration across legal, finance, IT, and procurement teams to align with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal procurement policies.
- Continuously assess market trends and vendor performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is preferred.
- Proven experience in IT strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of IT procurement processes, including hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and vendor management.
