Our Power Generation client is looking for an Office Build-Out Project Manager in Hiawatha, IA (Onsite) for a 12 month contract. You will be responsible for managing projects related to setting up their training building in IA, including maintenance, glass panel simulator room, etc. You will maintain project momentum, report completion status, and control costs to budget.
Responsibilities
- Leads substantial and complex projects independently to ensure completion in accordance with schedule date
- Develops project plans such that stakeholders and contributors understand their assignments and timing
- Deploys resources efficiently, ensuring that work performance flows without bottlenecks and gaps
- Innovates solutions to problems that arise from changing project circumstances
- Values and effectively incorporates certain functional experts into projects
- Calculates costs and controls expenses to budget
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering with 4 years of Project Management experience
OR
- High School Grad/GED with 9 years of Project Management experience
- Accredited Training Program experience preferred
- PMP qualification needed
