rimary Services is excited to announce the role of Procurement and Project Support Administrator for our client in the renewable energy sector. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Transmission & Interconnection team by managing procurement processes, tracking project timelines, and maintaining important administrative functions. You will work closely with the Renewables Procurement team, ensuring all activities, from service orders to project reports, are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for all team services and maintain records.
- Review and assist in managing RFPs, working directly with the Renewables Procurement team.
- Maintain and update project management systems (Salesforce preferred, MS Project experience acceptable).
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring timely agendas and detailed meeting minutes.
- Act as a liaison for the team, managing information requests and resolving issues.
- Organize and manage electronic documents related to transmission and interconnection.
- Assist with the consultant engagement process, including reviewing scope of work documents.
- Process and track invoices from ISOs, RTOs, and third parties related to transmission and interconnection.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Report on project progress to ensure stakeholders are updated on timelines, schedules, and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support to the Transmission & Interconnection team as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy, GIS, power generation, transmission, or utilities industries.
- Experience with vendor management and corporate compliance is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project scheduling and management tools, especially Salesforce, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information to various stakeholders.
