Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for utility construction and steel pipe categories.
• Identify and assess suppliers based on organizational needs, quality standards, and financial stability.
• Monitor market trends and supplier landscapes to drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Conduct in-depth supplier evaluations, including reputation, service quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish supplier selection criteria and procurement strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and warranties.
• Ensure all contracts align with legal standards, organizational policies, and industry regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests.
• Serve as a key liaison for supplier management issues, fostering strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on utility construction and steel pipe categories.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and corporate contract negotiation.
• Strong ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven procurement decisions.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and supplier management.
