About the Role:
The Senior Air Quality Permitting Specialist position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to environmental safety and regulatory compliance while working with a respected organization in the LNG industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with site and corporate teams to understand and implement site-specific air quality compliance processes and operating procedures.
- Collect and analyze data from site staff, contractors, and corporate teams to demonstrate compliance with monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and update Air Quality Compliance Plans and Procedures for the site.
- Maintain air emission inventories and compile background data for weekly and monthly Air Quality Compliance reports.
- Conduct site walk-throughs and coordinate periodic stack tests and fugitive monitoring surveys.
- Assist in conducting Air Quality Compliance training sessions for site staff.
- Participate in internal site audits of Air Quality Compliance activities to ensure adherence to all regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Air Quality Compliance experience. Experience in Louisiana's regulatory environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EPA and Louisiana Air Quality regulations, including Title V and PSD Permit programs.
- Proficiency in air emission calculations and reporting procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, with strong analytical abilities.
- Prior experience in the LNG, oil, or gas sectors is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis.
- Transportation TWIC required (or ability to obtain).
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
